Timing
In the next 24 working hours (Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays) upon arrival of your order, it will be taken over and processed. Then your package will be prepared and entrusted to the express courier who, depending on the destination, will deliver in Italy in 24-48 working hours. Order preparation times may vary depending on the references ordered, with some specialties that require a longer handling time (but which will certainly be forgiven with their goodness). In case of emergencies we request a preventive contact at +39 010 8601096 by 12.00 in order to examine all the options together. To guarantee the freshness of the desired references, orders with fresh products made starting from Thursday will be processed from the first working day of the following week or on the day of arrival in the warehouse of the product in the case of particular references (by reservation, etc ...). In any case, more information is indicated in the product sheets that have different management times. For islands and areas defined by the courier as "disadvantaged" we reserve the right to vary the timing and verify the actual shipping costs in order to inform the customer of any additions or the possibility of canceling and refunding the order. Foreign shipments have different timing for both management and shipping, in relation to the products ordered and the delivery location. Also in this case we ask for a prior contact if there are any urgencies or special needs. However, don't worry, everything is simpler than it seems, in most cases you will have all your favorite foods at home within 48 hours of placing your order.
Your addresses
Indicate the address of which you are sure it is always manned. If it is a workplace, it also indicates closing days (pay attention to local holidays, especially abroad) and times. If it is a delivery address outside the European Union, it is not possible to place an order on your own but a contact will be required. In this case, we ask you to indicate the exact location of delivery together with the complete list of products that you want to order so as to allow us to provide you with an assessment of feasibility, timing and costs for shipping. The goods will be delivered to the address specified in the order. Every time, check all your data carefully (especially house number, number on the intercom, post code). We ask you to be as precise as possible, for example if you live in a hamlet, indicate this and not the municipality, to allow us and the courier to offer you the best service. Even the most insignificant inaccuracy risks delaying delivery by the courier. Also use the notes space when ordering or send us an additional message if you want to provide us with more information to identify the delivery address. If the shipping address is different from the billing address, you can add a new address, both at the time of the order and by logging into your account. Likewise, the addresses are always editable. If it is a gift order, or in any case you do not want the recipient to know the amount of the order, it must always be specified in the note. The fact that the delivery address and the billing address are different is not enough. For foreign addresses it is necessary to indicate a local landline or mobile phone number. If you wish to receive an invoice, simply enter the VAT number, company name and the unique code and for completeness specify it in the notes.
Packaging
The standard of our packaging is very high and this makes us fall within the strictest security measures required by express couriers all over the world. Obviously, the management of shipments requires compliance with HACCP procedures relating to food safety. Our 20 years of experience in online commerce have not passed in vain! To ensure that you receive your order in perfect condition, we use suitable packaging for the protection and conservation of the products. Palatifini.it offers its users a selection of "fresh" products such as meats, cheeses, butter, foie gras, salmon, caviar, bottarga, Genoese pesto and fresh pasta. To ensure the cold chain, we pack orders in special packaging such as thermal bags and isothermal EPS containers for food (a type of expanded polystyrene) with a thickness of 2 cm which allow, thanks to the insertion of ice gel, to maintain the temperature. The amount of ice placed inside the thermal packaging varies according to the delivery location and seasonal temperatures. We use this refrigerant for several characteristics: · It is compatible with foodstuffs according to the 155 HACCP law It is non-perishable and non-toxic (unlike dry ice) · Does not cause thermal shock to products · It has a high cooling capacity When the cold chain is not necessary, we pack orders in corrugated cardboard boxes, which protects the products from shocks.
