The ginger is a herbaceous plant of the Zingiberaceae (the same Cardamom family) originating in the Far East.
The ginger is a spice with great healing properties, is a tonic, a stimulant, an anti-inflammatory and an excellent digestive.
It has a sweet, but at the same time spicy taste thanks to gingeroli eshogaoli which are the main responsible for pungent flavor. ginger is also known as Ginger (English) and is a herbaceous perennial plant about 90 cm high. It is often used as a spice, especially in dried and powdered form, or fresh in thin slices. In pickled and sour taste it is usually served in Japanese cuisine in conjunction with sushi and sashimi. Even gingerbread is used, because of its pungent flavor, to make fish skewers.
In oriental kitchens, it is mainly used in the preparation of soups and dishes with sauces.
TENNIS TO ZENZERO AND HONEY
For each person to boil a cup of water, prepare 4/5 slices of dehydrated ginger (with or without sugar according to personal taste) for each serving of herbal tea. Add dehydrated ginger in boiling water and continue boiling for a few minutes until the classic bitter aroma is released. Pour into the cups and add a teaspoon of honey or sugar according to taste. For example, we like to add some drops of lemon. Good herbal tea!
