The black lentil of Leonforte is a legume cultivar characteristic of Sicily, more precisely of the province of Enna. The production still completely manual, enrolls the Sicilian black lentil among the rarities of Italian cuisine. Absolutely to put on your gourmet list.
The flavor is persistent and rich, making it ideal to be enjoyed in purity with just one round of mild EVO oil. This lentil is very fragrant, with elegant nuances and lends itself perfectly to be chosen as a side dish for fish dishes.
