This rose "jam" is created according to a recipe handed down orally from generation to generation among the people of the Scrivia Valley, in the Genoese hinterland.
The rose petal jam is perfect to accompany fresh desserts such as ice cream and cheesecakes: we recommend trying it with desserts based on prescinseua, the typical Genoese curd, for an end of a meal in the name of typical Ligurian food. The preserved petals, given their sweet but not tiring goodness, are irresistible in the morning on a slice of warm bread and butter.
In addition, you can make your guests taste this fantastic rose jam as an appetizer inpairing with fresh cheesesof cow's milk.

InGarden of the Dahliasthe rose is the absolute protagonist, with a rose garden treated according to the methods of organic farming, to make one of the most refined but perhaps, wrongly, less known Ligurian specialties shine at its best, namely the roses of the Scrivia Valley. The rose has always had a great importance in the gastronomic tradition of Liguria, and syrups and preserves have been prepared from the processing of its petals since at least the first half of the 1600s (century in which we have the first written records of its use). The Dahlia Garden keeps these traditions alive, rediscovering recipes and processing methods handed down from mother to daughter, only orally and never written down.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
