Forest honey, 500gr - Darbo

The color is very dark, the taste slightly sweet, similar to malt, woody.
It is liked by those who do not like the sweetness of honey, used to sweeten and flavor milk and dairy products. Thanks to its resistance to cooking, it also lends itself to replacing caramel.

Forest honeydew is a special honey, which is harvested in late summer. Unlike other types of honey, it does not derive from a flowering: bees collect this sugary substance produced by the Metcalfa insect, which feeds on the sap of trees such as fir, pine, oak, and transforms it into honey.

Darbo is a renowned small-medium family business, now in its fifth generation, with three locations in Tyrol and decades of experience in the production of the highest quality honey.

Today it is appreciated nationally and internationally, finding numerous awards for all its gastronomic specialties.
