The Sciacchetrà Cinqueterre DOC 2017 is a passito wine obtained from the selection of the best grapes of Bosco, Albarola and Vermentino that are grown in the fascinating terraces overlooking the sea (known by the dialect term of "cian"), small strips of land that the farmers over time they have managed to build with the characteristic dry stone walls and which have created the identity of the place.

This is a meditation wine, a passito wine of great structure and profile, which comes from an aging of at least 3 years in chestnut and oak barrels. It goes especially at the end of a meal with dry pastries and dark chocolate but can also be served with extra-aged aged cheeses. The flavor expresses a perfect balance, between roundness of taste and marked persistence with notes of dried fruit and spicy aromas that are revealed more and more over the years. Fresh and sweet as is required of the best sweet wines. An attractive and captivating wine with a bouquet of apricot, fig and bergamot, and in the background it reminds us of its strong mineral character.
