Champagne of race and terroir: the plant and soil are found in every way in its wine, thanks to old vines, many secrets of the winemaker and modern technology.
Egly-Ouriet produces only with grapes of its 11.5 hectares of vineyards, of which the most important is to Ambonnay, home of Pinot Noir, the other Bouzy and Verzenay.
Quality starts on this particular ground, made of layers of plaster that reflect the sun's rays and release heat to the plant during the night, allowing the absorption of excess water and giving the grapes a very mineral taste.
